Job Objectives:



Handling all issues related to preparing and formulating cost, materials, and labor estimates.



Duties and Responsibilities:



1. Analyzing blueprints and other documentation to prepare time required time frame of the project.
2. Preparing estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
3. Coordinating with site engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
4. Preparing estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
5. Preparing cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
6. Assessing cost effectiveness of the projects, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
7. Setting up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
8. Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
9. Reviewing material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
10. Detailing all the materials necessary for the project to achieve specification.
11. Estimating the cost of equipment and other resources.
12. Calculating a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit.
13. Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
14. Assisting in establishing a requirements and undertaking feasibility studies and analysis (if needed).
15. Performing risk and value management and cost control.
16. Advising on procurement strategy.
17. Assisting in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
18. Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to any potential risks.
19. Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders.
20. Allocating work to subcontractors.
21. Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
22. Offering advice on property taxation.
23. Receiving all tenders’ documents and drawings.
24. Participation in preparation of all technical document and tenders pre-qualification statements.
25. Organization and filing all tenders document concerning tenders.


المهارات


The use of related computer programs.


Proficiency in Arabic and English.

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
