Key Responsibilities (“Do”)
1. Develops the Marketing department’s annual business plan, in line with the Company’s strategic direction.
2. Plans marketing and promotional activities to enhance the Marketing image and increase sales in coordination with the Company marketing function
3. Sets the Marketing’s methods and procedures to attain such goals.
4. Develops and recommends integrated plans to optimize market share and profitability of existing or new product lines.
5. Develops pricing plans based on analysis of competitive activity, market conditions, marketing plans and ability to meet expectations.
6. Develops required organization and continuity of manpower.
7. Develops annual and long range profit performance plans and budget expectations.
8. Plans and develops commission scheme for the sales and marketing employees.
9. Ensures that the Marketing’s operations are in compliance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom and with industry standards.
10. Periodically reviews and checks the working methods against pre-set standards and recommends improvements.
11. Assumes full leadership for cost reduction and co-operates with other entities on the matter.
12. Follows-up on past due and delinquent collections from customers.
13. Directs the Marketing’s sales and distribution to achieve optimum distribution and retail exposure of products.
14. Provides direction and supervision in order to minimize costs.
15. Directs all marketing functions to ensure achievement of the Marketing’s objectives and product line strategies.
16. Determines and evaluates all factors that could affect the market planning, such as economic climate, employment situation, competitive atmosphere, sales trend and legislative actions.
17. Evaluates operational results and revises strategies.
18. Regularly visits sales locations and sales personnel in order to remain abreast of conditions affecting the Marketing’s operational capacities.
19. Co-operate with the visual designers.
20. Ensures clarifications of responsibilities and authorities for all managerial and supervisory levels within the Marketing.
21. Follows-up and maintains relationships with Governmental bodies, customers and suppliers.
22. Co-ordinates with the Merchandising & Operations Managers to identify slow and non-moving items that need additional marketing and promotional efforts.
23. Initiates and reviews Marketing budgets.
24. Reviews and approves the monthly financial statements of the Marketing together with the required analysis and explanations.
25. Reviews and approves all required Treasury reports and forms.
26. Follow up all additions, disposals and sale of fixed assets at the Marketing, in accordance with the authorization matrix.
27. Reviews ageing of receivables on a monthly basis and approves the write-off of certain delinquent accounts, in accordance with the authorization matrix.
28. Approves Marketing disbursements, purchases and expenses, in accordance with the authorization matrix.
